| Scenic Hills Raceway is host to several major motorsport classes
including; FIA Formula 1, GT Prototype Endurance racing, SCCA Sportcars events and Vintage
Historic race meets. Each racing
class requires a factory box-stock chassis, motor and body shell.
Scenic Hills Raceway was designed to be a
driver's cirucit.
The decision to allow only box-stock
production cars was made to keep racing costs down, and to provide novice racers with a
better chance of success.
Aftermarket Delrin double-flanged rear
hubs and Twinn-K AJs silicone slip-on rear tires are the only modifications allowed in any
of the racing classes.
Body shells must be currently available
production models based upon actual race cars as originally campaigned. |
